Assemble a real value stream map, in the conventional format

Add processes and inventory the way you'd place them on a wall with sticky notes — the flow diagram, the data boxes and the lead-time ladder below all build themselves from what you add. This is Phase 1: assembly and the auto-computed metrics. Editable what-if scenarios and animation are next.

Flow inputs

Build the stream

Add process and inventory blocks in the order material actually flows. Drag a card by its handle to reorder — or use the arrows.
Describe a what-if scenario
Turns your sentence into Future-scenario slider changes — nothing is sent anywhere except this page's own server, and no value stream data is stored.

How the numbers work: production lead time sums the wait days at every inventory block (units ÷ your daily demand rate). Processing time sums each process's cycle time. VA ratio is processing time as a share of lead time — the standard Lean tell for how much of the stream is actually adding value versus waiting. Cost/unit is loaded labor rate × headcount × cycle time, summed across processes; the scrap-adjusted figure accounts for units lost at each process's scrap rate.
Running a what-if live: expand "Future scenario" on any process or inventory card and drag its sliders — cutting Process B's C/O from 10 to 2 minutes, or scrap from 2% to 0.5%, for example. Switch the view toggle above to "Future scenario" to see the redrawn stream, or leave it on "Current state" and read the comparison table below the diagram for the before/after delta on lead time, cost and VA ratio.
